Joshua 13:12-14

Moses struck them down and drove them out,^{(A) 13} but the Israelites did not drive out the Geshurites and Maacathites.^(B) So Geshur and Maacath live in Israel to this day.^(C)

¹⁴ He did not give any inheritance to the tribe of Levi. This was its inheritance, just as He had promised: the offerings made by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel.^(D)
